 Where are you from?
I was born in San Diego, CA but I spent most of my childhood in Izmir, which is a city in Turkey. Now I'm studying in Northern California. How old are you?
I am 21 years old. What was your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school was (is) physics. I'm especially interested in the relationships between mechanical systems and electromagnetism.What was your favorite childhood book?
I can't choose just one book, but my favorite authors during my childhood were Roald Dahl and Terry Pratchett. The two books I read the most times over were probably Dahl's 'Matilda' and Pratchett's 'Mort'.What is your favorite hobby?
In my spare time I like to play drum set and go paintballing, money permitting.What is your favorite childhood memory?
One of my fondest childhood memories would have to be going fishing with my uncle in the Aegean sea, off of Turkey's west coast.What is your occupation?
I'm a senior undergraduate student studying Biomedical Engineering; I work part time as an engineer in a lab which deals mainly with MRI-related research.What do you enjoy the most about tutoring for Learn To Be?
My favorite part of tutoring is that light switch moment when the student suddenly understands what's going on and isn't afraid to take the initiative in solving the problem.
