It was a spooky Halloween night in the small town of Spookyville. Little Liam was excited to go trick-or-treating with his friends. As they walked through the neighborhood, they noticed the old pumpkin patch down the street was glowing with an eerie light.

Liam and his friends decided to investigate. When they reached the pumpkin patch, they saw that all the pumpkins had disappeared! Instead, there were strange, glowing shapes in the patch. Liam was a little scared, but his friends wanted to find out what was going on.

They carefully walked into the patch and discovered that the glowing shapes were actually tiny ghosts! The ghosts were playing a game, tossing the pumpkins back and forth. Liam and his friends watched in amazement as the ghosts giggled and floated around.

Suddenly, one of the ghosts noticed the children and stopped playing. "Who are you?" the ghost asked in a spooky voice. Liam's friends got a little scared, but Liam bravely said, "We're just here to see what's going on. Why did you take all the pumpkins?"

The ghost explained that the pumpkins were their favorite toys to play with on Halloween. Liam and his friends were relieved to learn that the ghosts were just having some spooky fun. They even got to join in the pumpkin-tossing game!

After a while, the ghosts returned all the pumpkins to the patch. Liam and his friends thanked the ghosts and headed back home, filled with the spirit of Halloween. They couldn't wait to tell everyone about the Haunted Pumpkin Patch Mystery!
