Please describe your student and why you qualify for tutoring.
Jabari is a 6th grade student who is struggling in school. i know that this year has been a challenge ,the transition from elementary to middle school has been very hard . i've tried helping him the best i can and even had him attend after school tutoring in math and he doesn't seem to grasp the concept he needs more individualized help and unfortunately i work late and i'm horrible in math myself hes tried online tutorials and nothing is helping much. middle school in my opinion is the foundation for high school and college. he's trying very hard but just needs one on one help...i feel helpless and so does he...his confidence is starting to be affected he hates to be called on in school in fear he will get the anwsers wrong in front of people and he will be picked on this program i feel will help him get the skills needed to succeed in math and bulid his confidence level up.
