Please describe your student and why you qualify for tutoring.
Jaiden has always been, up to the 6th grade, a public school student and performs within an A-C range. I encourage her to succeed academically because she would like to one day attend college. She is very artistic and enjoys any Social Studies topic from History to Geography and Science. She also enjoys writing and art. This is her first year as a k12 online student and we were accepted late in the year. Jaiden enjoys math but is currently having diffuculty catching up on some of the concepts in the 7th grade k12 class she is in. She is struggling with statistics, probability, sampling, and some algebraic concepts. We are already well-versed in an on-line school format so we can easily manage working in a tutoring session so she feels confident to complete the school year with a satisfactory grade. I will continue with a tutor over the summer so she is prepared for 8th grade Math.
What are your greatest hopes for your student?
I would hope that she continues to foster her artistic skills and be academically successful in achieving her dream to go to college. She has expressed interest in physical and occupational therapy and sometimes thinks being a lawyer to help children would be a good job.
