Please describe your student and why you qualify for tutoring.
Sunil is a very calm, peaceful young lady. We moved here from the UK over two years ago and Sunil has struggled with math the entire time since the move. Sunil has dyslexia but is passing every other class. When she was younger, she was on an IEP but was taken off as she had made such immense progress. But coming here, the lack of an IEP has meant that she is not given any extra time or support despite knowing that she has dyslexia. She lacks confidence and is at times is embarrassed to ask for help. At home, Sunil has two baby sisters and two half siblings. I too find Algebra difficult and when attempting to help, only make it worse. I know this program will be helpful to Sunil to not only help her have a deeper understanding of the subject, but also to know when to ask for help.
