Please describe your student and why you qualify for tutoring.
Kiara is a very intelligent and loving 9 year old. She loves playing with her friends and cousins. She also loves to read and listen to radio theater. Most of her schoolwork comes easy for her except math. She struggles because she does not have the patience to work through problems and check her answers. She is so used to just knowing the answers. She needs to work on problems solving. It is very discouraging to her that she is struggling so much in math and I want her to succeed. I encourage her to try her best and reassure her that her best is good enough for me. Kiara is a perfectionist and really wants to succeed in every subject. I just want her to understand the concepts. I really hope this program will help get her on the right track.
What are your greatest hopes for your student?
