Please describe your student and why you qualify for tutoring.
Kieren is 16 years old and a tenth grader. He loves drawing, writing scripts and anything related to directing. He's a bright young man with great ideas and can't wait to share his talents with the world. He has been in plays where he was awarded best male in a theatre production and was invited to a national art competition for his artwork. He has done exceptionally well in academics however has hit a bump in the road. Geometry has been a struggle for him this year. He has failed last semester and needs to pass this current semester in order to get credit for the class. As a single mom and someone who's not so goodbye I need math myself, I've struggled getting the help that Kieren needs including the T184 calculator he uses at school. He hasn't let this get him down and tries extremely hard. Kieren has his days of defeat but he keeps a strong face for me. I know that he can learn and approve so much with one on one help. We are both committed and looking forward to the help. One day he may be able to help others who struggle.
