Please describe your student and why you qualify for tutoring.
Cerey is a sweet and usually bubbly 8 year old. She can be outspoken, but she can also be shy. She can be stubborn, which is a strength and weakness. She has a sister and 2 brothers that are not in the home with her. She is the youngest sibling. She has a habit of quitting when things are harder than expected to her. She likes to learn, create, and find out why things happen or how they are made or how they work. Last year into this year we've been homeless and she missed school got behind.
What are your greatest hopes for your student?
I would like her to comfortable with doing math without counters and be at level. I think she has a smart mind but just needs to get through this to have more confidence in herself and learn to overcome things to continue her education and path to finding who she is and what she wants to do.
