Why Choose LTB as a Community Partner

Learn To Be is a great place to for fellows to earn College Corps hours while also positively impacting a young student in need.

Fellows are easily connected with California students

Fellows are then able to select the student/subject they'd like to tutor, create their schedule, and earn their hours from their own home.

Hours are validated and tracked by LTB

Each tutor session length is electronically tracked, making hour validation easy.

Host Site Flexibility

LTB can be a primary or secondary host site. If fellows are short on their hour requirement with another host site, they can easily earn extra hours to stay on track with Learn to Be.

"Our tutor seems to have been able to quickly build a good rapport with Cameron. I was worried that Cameron might be resistant to tutoring on the weekend, but those concerns were unnecessary. In fact, Cameron's face lights up when he hears that he will have tutoring this weekend. I think he looks forward to the sessions!"
