FAQs

Some common questions we get about tutoring with Learn To Be.

Check out what Harvey has to say.

Harvey is a retired teacher who has tutored over 300 hours.

My name is Harvey. I am a retired teacher. Learn To Be has been a tremendous asset in two ways.

Firstly it allows students to access help in subject(s) that they wouldn’t otherwise be able to receive. It is such a wonderful event when a student states that he or she realizes that they understand something that alluded them in a crowded classroom. They not only get help in their schoolwork, but also in gaining confidence in their hidden abilities.

Secondly, the tutor receives as much as the student. It is so true that the gift giver receives at least as much as the recipient. I feel so thankful that Learn To Be has allowed me to conveniently participate in over 300 hours of tutoring that have made me feel both valuable and joyful.
