At the time, King was reading at a kindergarten level. In March, he was matched with a tutor named Isabella, and after about 25 hours of one-on-one tutoring, his reading grade rose from an F to a C+. Even more meaningful, King started reading for fun—something his dad never thought possible—and called the progress 'nothing short of amazing.'"
