Jen had a pet hen named Ben, but Ben was not like any ordinary hen. Ben loved getting wet! One hot day, Jen and Ben went to the pond. Jen told Ben, "Let's not get too wet," but Ben had a plan.

As soon as they reached the pond, Ben jumped in with a big splash! Water went all over the place. "Ben!" yelled Jen, but she was laughing. Ben swam and kicked, looking so funny that Jen could not stop giggling. Then, Ben hopped out and shook off, sending water flying everywhere!

Jen picked up Ben and said, "You are my silly, wet pet!" Ben clucked as if he was laughing too. From that day on, Jen always brought a big towel for her wet pet hen, Ben, whenever they went to the pond.
