Eliza said she wanted to be a scientist so she could continue exploring the world around her. After lunch, it was time for recess, Eliza's favorite part of the day. She ran around the playground, playing tag with her friends and swinging on the monkey bars.

Eliza was fascinated by the intricate patterns and vibrant colors she saw in the examples her teacher showed.

As the day came to an end, Eliza felt satisfied with all she had learned. She couldn't wait to go home and tell her parents about her exciting day at school. Eliza knew that every day in third grade would be an adventure, and she couldn't wait to see what the rest of the year had in store.
