It was a sunny Saturday morning, and Jack, a second-grade boy, couldn't wait to play his favorite game, Fortnite. But when he reached for his controller, it was gone! "Oh no, where's my Fortnite controller?" he cried.
Jack searched everywhere - under his bed, in the toy box, and even in the kitchen. But the controller was nowhere to be found. He started to worry that someone had taken it.
Determined to solve the mystery, Jack decided to become a detective. He put on his thinking cap and started looking for clues. He noticed that his little sister, Emily, was acting a bit suspicious.
Jack asked Emily if she had seen his Fortnite controller, but she just shrugged and said she didn't know. Hmm, Jack thought, could she be hiding something?
Suddenly, Jack heard a strange sound coming from Emily's room. He tiptoed over and peeked in, and to his surprise, he saw Emily playing with his missing Fortnite controller!
"Emily! That's my controller!" Jack cried. Emily looked up, startled. "I'm sorry, Jack. I just wanted to play Fortnite too," she said, her eyes filled with tears.
Jack felt bad for getting upset with his little sister. He realized that she was just trying to have fun, and he decided to share his controller with her. From that day on, they played Fortnite together every Saturday morning.
The End. Jack learned that being a detective isn't always easy, but sometimes it's important to listen and understand others. And he also learned that sharing can be a lot of fun!
