The Big Surprise for Tommy

As Tommy walked through the front door, he heard a small chirp coming from the living room. He rushed over and found the cutest little puppy playing on the floor!

"Wow, a puppy! This is the best surprise ever!" Tommy exclaimed. He sat down and the puppy immediately ran over to him, wagging its tail excitedly.

Tommy spent the rest of the day playing fetch and cuddling with his new furry friend. He couldn't believe his luck - a puppy was the perfect pet for a 2nd grade boy like him.

The next morning, Tommy woke up early to feed and walk the puppy. He was so responsible and the puppy seemed to know it, following Tommy around everywhere.

On the way to school, Tommy introduced the puppy to all his friends. Everyone thought the puppy was adorable and wanted to play with it too.

When Tommy got home, he showed the puppy all his favorite toys. They spent the afternoon chasing each other around the yard, barking and having the best time.

At dinnertime, the puppy sat patiently by Tommy's side, hoping for a few table scraps. Tommy made sure to save a special treat just for his new best friend.

As bedtime approached, the tired puppy snuggled up next to Tommy on the bed. Tommy gave it a big hug and whispered, "I love you, puppy."

From that day on, Tommy and the puppy were inseparable. They played together, went on walks, and explored the neighborhood side-by-side. It was the best surprise Tommy could have ever asked for!
