A Cow in the Classroom

Malaya was excited for the first day of sixth grade. She couldn't wait to see her friends and meet her new teacher. But when she walked into her classroom, she was surprised to find a giant cow standing at the front of the room!

"Good morning, students!" the cow said in a deep, booming voice. "I'll be your teacher for the day." Malaya looked over at her brother Messiah, who was equally stunned. What was going on?

The cow-teacher began the lesson, mooing and stomping around as it taught the class about geometry. Malaya tried her best to focus, but it was hard to concentrate with a 1,500-pound bovine leading the class.

During recess, Malaya and Messiah discussed the strange situation. "Do you think the cow is a new teacher?" Messiah asked. "Or maybe it's a prank?" Malaya shrugged, unsure what to make of the bizarre day.

After lunch, the cow-teacher returned and started teaching about the importance of healthy eating. "Cows need lots of grass and hay to stay strong!" it bellowed. Malaya giggled, realizing the cow was trying its best to be a good teacher, even if it wasn't very good at it.
