Giya left her colorful chalk on the balcony while she went inside for lunch. Cake and Cupcake, the two mischievous orange tabbies, immediately spotted an opportunity for fun. "Come on, Gordita!" they meowed. "Let's play in the chalk! It will be so much fun!" Gordita, the calico cat, shook her head nervously. She knew Giya wouldn't like it, but her friends kept pushing.
Finally, Gordita gave in. The three cats rolled and pounced in the bright blue chalk, leaving colorful paw prints everywhere. Gordita's white patches turned completely blue! When they realized what they'd done, panic set in. "We have to fix this!" cried Cupcake. Cake found the bathroom sink, and together they tried to wash the chalk off. They splashed and scrubbed, but the blue chalk stubbornly stuck to Gordita's fur.
Desperate and worried, Gordita wandered into the living room where Giya's pile of colorful Legos sat on the floor. Without thinking clearly, she began chewing on the plastic blocks. Crunch, crunch, crunch! The sound echoed through the apartment. Suddenly, footsteps approached. Giya walked in and froze. She saw her blue-covered calico cat surrounded by scattered Legos.
Giya's eyes grew wide, but then she started laughing! She realized the cats had gotten into trouble together. Instead of getting angry, she gently gave Gordita a bath with warm water and soap. As the chalk finally washed away, Giya hugged all three cats. "No more chalk time without me," she said kindly. The cats meowed in agreement, learning that honesty and staying out of mischief was always better.
