In a lush jungle, there lived a mischievous monkey named Cheeky. Cheeky loved nothing more than playing tricks on the other animals, and his favorite target was the wise old elephant, Trunky.

One day, Cheeky spotted a bunch of ripe, yellow bananas hanging from a tree. He couldn't resist the temptation, so he quickly grabbed them and scampered away, giggling to himself. As he was munching on the delicious fruit, he had an idea for a prank.

Cheeky carefully placed the banana peels all around Trunky's favorite watering hole, waiting for the unsuspecting elephant to come by. Sure enough, Trunky arrived, thirsty and ready for a drink. But as soon as he stepped onto the banana peels, he lost his footing and went tumbling into the water with a loud splash!

Cheeky burst out laughing, rolling on the ground with delight. However, his laughter was short-lived when he realized that he had also slipped on the very same banana peels he had set up. Cheeky went flying through the air and landed right in the middle of the watering hole, soaking wet and covered in mud.

From that day on, Cheeky learned that even the best-laid plans can backfire, and he never again tried to trick Trunky or anyone else in the jungle.
