It was the first day of school, and little Emily was both nervous and excited. She had never been to school before, and she didn't know what to expect. As the class gathered, the teacher asked everyone to introduce themselves one by one.

Emily watched as the other children stood up and shared their names. When it was her turn, she took a deep breath and said, "My name is Emily, but my friends call me Emi." The other kids smiled and welcomed her to the class.

The teacher then explained that they would be doing lots of fun activities throughout the day, like arts and crafts, story time, and even a special snack time. Emily couldn't wait to join in and make new friends.

As the day went on, Emily discovered that school was not as scary as she had thought. She enjoyed exploring the different learning centers and playing with the other children during recess. By the end of the day, she was excited to come back the next day and see what new adventures awaited her.
