Khaleesia loved watching the squirrels scurry around her backyard, gathering acorns for the winter. One day, she noticed a smaller squirrel struggling to carry a big, heavy acorn. Khaleesia decided to help the little squirrel, but as she reached down, the squirrel scurried away, frightened.
Khaleesia didn't want the squirrel to be scared, so she sat very still and waited. Soon, the squirrel peeked out from behind a tree and saw that Khaleesia wasn't moving. Slowly, the squirrel crept closer and Khaleesia held out her hand with some birdseed.
The squirrel sniffed the birdseed and then climbed into Khaleesia's hand to eat it. Khaleesia was so happy that the squirrel trusted her. She watched as the squirrel scampered back to the big acorn and dragged it towards its nest.
