The Balloon That Floated Away

Lily was a little girl who loved to play outside. One sunny day, she was running around the park when she saw a colorful balloon floating high in the sky. She wished she could reach up and grab it, but it was too far away.

Suddenly, the balloon broke free from its string and started drifting higher and higher. Lily watched in awe as the balloon floated up, up, and away. She felt a little sad, but then she had an idea.

Lily ran home and asked her mom for some balloons of her own. Her mom gave her a bunch of colorful balloons, and Lily took them back to the park. She tied the balloons to a stick and started waving it around, pretending the balloons were flying up into the sky.

As Lily played, she noticed a group of children watching her. They looked curious, so Lily invited them to join in the fun. Soon, all the children were running around the park, waving their balloon sticks and laughing together.

Lily felt so happy that she had turned a sad moment into a fun adventure. She had shown the other children that even when something we want floats away, we can use our imaginations to create new, exciting things to do.
