Mia was a curious little girl who loved to explore her neighborhood. One sunny day, as she was walking down the street, she noticed something strange. An orange cat was sitting on a porch, its paw wrapped in a bandage.

Mia's heart raced with excitement. She had never seen an injured animal before. As she got closer, she spotted a white cat nearby, also wearing a bandage around its leg. Mia couldn't believe her eyes! What had happened to these poor pets?

Suddenly, Mia heard a soft rustling sound coming from behind a table in the yard. She carefully approached the table and peeked around it, and there she found a dog hiding, its tail tucked between its legs.

Mia knew she had to get to the bottom of this mystery. She carefully approached the orange cat, who meowed softly. The white cat seemed a little scared, but Mia gently reached out her hand and the cat sniffed it, then allowed Mia to pet it.
