The Case of Aiden's Missing Homework

Aiden's heart raced as he frantically searched his backpack. He was sure he had completed his math homework the night before, but now it was nowhere to be found. With a sinking feeling, he realized he had lost it, and he had to find it before class started.

Aiden rushed to his friend Chuck's locker. "Chuck, have you seen my math homework? I can't find it anywhere!" he exclaimed. Chuck shook his head, just as puzzled as Aiden.

"No, I haven't seen it. Maybe you left it at home?" Chuck suggested. Aiden shook his head, knowing he had put it in his backpack before leaving for school.

Just then, Aiden's friends Jessica and Kate approached. "What's going on?" Jessica asked. Aiden explained his dilemma, and the four friends decided to investigate the mystery of the missing homework.

They searched Aiden's locker, the classroom, and even the school's lost and found, but the homework was nowhere to be found. Aiden was starting to panic, knowing he would get in trouble if he didn't turn in his assignment.

Suddenly, Kate had an idea. "What if someone took your homework by mistake?" she said. The group quickly realized that someone might have accidentally picked up Aiden's homework, thinking it was their own.

They decided to retrace Aiden's steps from the day before, asking classmates and teachers if they had seen the missing assignment. After a thorough investigation, they discovered that Chuck's neighbor, Mrs. Wilson, had accidentally picked up Aiden's homework, thinking it was her grandson's.

Relieved, Aiden rushed to Mrs. Wilson's house and retrieved his homework, making it to class just in time. The friends had solved the mystery of the missing homework, and Aiden was grateful for their help.
