A Lesson Learned at Milcreek

Jasper, a student at Milcreek Middle School, was having a rather ordinary Wednesday until he made a poor decision. Instead of attending his math class, he decided to skip it and hang out with his friends in the hallway. Little did he know, the school's principal, Mrs. Davis, was monitoring the halls and quickly spotted him.

Jasper's heart sank as Mrs. Davis approached him and informed him that he was being sent to the principal's office. Once there, she explained the consequences of his actions. As a result, Jasper was given an after-school detention, where he would have to complete a work packet before being allowed to leave.

Sitting in the detention room, Jasper initially felt frustrated and resentful. However, as he began working on the packet, he realized that this was an opportunity to learn from his mistake. He carefully completed each assignment, determined to show Mrs. Davis that he could be responsible.
