Lily woke up with butterflies in her stomach. Today was her first day of fifth grade, and she couldn't wait to see her friends and meet her new teacher. As she got dressed, she picked out her favorite outfit - a bright yellow dress with sparkly sandals.

When Lily arrived at school, the hallways were bustling with activity. She quickly found her classroom and took a deep breath before stepping inside. To her delight, her best friend, Emma, was already there saving a seat for her.
