Nikko was so excited for his first day of first grade! He couldn't wait to learn new things and make new friends. As he got dressed, his dog, Cream Cheese, came running over, wagging his tail. "Good morning, Cream Cheese!" Nikko said, giving his furry friend a big hug.

After a healthy breakfast of carrots, broccoli, steak, and ribs, Nikko hopped on his bike and rode to school. When he arrived, his teacher, Mrs. Willow, greeted him with a warm smile. "Welcome to first grade, Nikko!" she said. "I can tell you're going to have a wonderful year."

In the classroom, Nikko met all his new classmates. They were a friendly bunch, and Nikko couldn't wait to get to know them better. During math class, Nikko showed off his skills by solving all the problems quickly. "Wow, Nikko, you're a math genius!" his friend Lily exclaimed.

After recess, where Nikko enjoyed dancing and playing, it was time for reading. Nikko listened carefully as Mrs. Willow taught the class new words. He was so excited to start learning how to read all by himself. When the bell rang for lunch, Nikko hurried to the cafeteria, eager to try the delicious-looking food.

The rest of the day flew by in a blur of fun and learning. By the time the final bell rang, Nikko was tired but thrilled. As he rode his bike home, he couldn't stop talking about his wonderful first day of first grade.
