It was the first day of school for Lily, and she was feeling a little nervous. The classroom was filled with unfamilar faces, and Lily didn't know anyone. She sat down at an empty desk, hoping someone would come and talk to her.

Just then, a friendly-looking boy named Max walked over and introduced himself. "Hi, I'm Max! Do you want to be my friend?" Lily was so relieved and excited. She smiled and said, "Yes, I'd love to be your friend!"
