In a lush, green forest, there lived a snake named Slither. Slither was quite a forgetful fellow, and he often misplaced his favorite pair of glasses. One day, while slithering through the trees, Slither realized his glasses were missing again.

"Oh no, where could they be?" Slither worried, his eyes squinting as he searched high and low. Just then, a friendly bird named Chirp flew down and perched on a nearby branch.

"Slither, what's the matter?" Chirp asked, tilting his head curiously. Slither explained that he had lost his glasses and couldn't see a thing without them. Chirp felt bad for his scaly friend and promised to help find the missing spectacles.
