Josephina and Tofunmi were best friends at Dodson Elementary School. Every morning, they would sit together and eat Coco Puffs cereal for breakfast. Even though they weren't in the same class, they always made sure to spend time together during recess.

One sunny day, the two girls raced to the yellow swings on the playground. Josephina, being the taller and more competitive one, tried to swing higher than Tofunmi. She would scream with excitement every time she reached the top of the swing's arc.

Tofunmi, on the other hand, was more interested in having fun than trying to outdo her friend. She laughed and giggled as she swung back and forth, not caring who went higher.

When the final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, Josephina and Tofunmi met in the hallway to wait for their buses. As they stood there, they started gossiping about their classmate, Khalid. They couldn't wait to see what he would do next.

Finally, their buses arrived, and the two friends said their goodbyes. They couldn't wait to do it all again the next day at Dodson Elementary School.
