Monroe was a curious fourth-grader who loved solving puzzles. One day, as he was walking to class, he noticed something strange – his favorite chair in the classroom was gone! Confused, he rushed over to his friends Garrett and Paul to see if they knew what happened.
"Did you guys see what happened to my chair?" Monroe asked, scanning the room. "It was right here this morning, but now it's disappeared!"
Garrett and Paul looked at each other, equally puzzled. "We have no idea," Garrett said. "It was here when we came in, but now it's gone. That's so weird!"
The three friends decided to investigate the mystery of the missing chair. They checked every corner of the classroom, but the chair was nowhere to be found. They even asked their teacher, but she was just as confused as they were.
"I have no idea what happened to your chair, Monroe," the teacher said. "It was here yesterday, but it seems to have disappeared overnight. We'll have to get to the bottom of this!"
The friends decided to split up and search the school for clues. Monroe checked the hallways and the cafeteria, while Garrett and Paul searched the gym and the library. They all met back in the classroom, but none of them had found any sign of the missing chair.
Just then, Monroe had a brilliant idea. "What if someone took the chair as a prank?" he suggested. "Maybe it's hidden somewhere in the school, and we just have to find it!"
The friends set out to search the school once again, determined to solve the mystery. They looked in every nook and cranny, until finally, Garrett spotted something unusual in the janitor's closet. It was the missing chair, tucked away in the corner!
"We found it!" the friends shouted, triumphantly. They brought the chair back to the classroom, and the mystery was solved. From that day on, Monroe, Garrett, and Paul knew that they could work together to solve any problem that came their way.
