The Case of the Missing Spoon

Monroe, a curious 9-year-old boy, loved solving mysteries. One day, as he was setting the table for dinner, he noticed that his favorite silver spoon was missing. "Frank! Harry! Have you seen my spoon?" he called out to his twin brothers.

Frank and Harry, both 12 years old, shrugged their shoulders. "No, we haven't seen it," they replied. Monroe's mom, Mrs. Johnson, joined the search, but the spoon was nowhere to be found.

"This is a mystery that needs solving!" declared Monroe. He gathered his detective kit, which included a magnifying glass, a notebook, and a pen, and began investigating the scene of the crime.

Monroe carefully examined the table, looking for any clues. He noticed a few crumbs on the floor, which he carefully collected in a small plastic bag. "Aha! This could be a crucial piece of evidence," he exclaimed.

Next, Monroe interviewed his brothers. "Where were you when the spoon went missing?" he asked. Frank and Harry explained that they had been playing outside in the backyard, but they couldn't recall seeing the spoon.

As Monroe continued his investigation, he realized that the missing spoon was the only piece of silverware that was unaccounted for. "This is getting more and more mysterious," he thought to himself.
