The Mystery of the Missing Science Fair Project

It was the day of the annual science fair at Oakwood Middle School, and 7th-grader Jamie couldn't wait to see the incredible projects her classmates had created. But when she arrived at the school gymnasium, she noticed something strange – her own project, a fully functional model of the solar system, was nowhere to be found.

Determined to solve the mystery, Jamie began her investigation. She interviewed her fellow students, searching for any clues that might reveal the whereabouts of her missing project. Some students claimed they had seen a suspicious-looking janitor lurking around the gym the night before, while others suggested that a rival student might have stolen it to sabotage her.

As Jamie delved deeper into the case, she discovered a torn piece of paper hidden under a table. The note contained a coded message that seemed to point to the school's computer lab. Excitedly, she hurried to the lab, where she found her project hidden in a corner, with a message scribbled on the back: "Nice try, but you'll have to do better than that to win the science fair!"

With the help of her friends, Jamie cracked the code and discovered that the culprit was none other than the science teacher's assistant, who was jealous of her impressive project. Together, they confronted the assistant, and the missing science fair project was returned just in time for the competition.
