Once upon a time, there lived a very special fairy named Tina. Tina was the Tooth Fairy, and her job was to collect children's teeth and leave behind shiny coins.
One night, Tina was flying high above the city when she saw a little girl's tooth sparkling in the moonlight. Tina swooped down to collect it, but when she tried to fly back up, she couldn't.
Tina's wings felt heavy and strange. She had never had trouble flying before. She tried flapping her wings, but she just kept drifting down, down, down to the ground.
Tina landed with a soft thud in a backyard. She looked around, worried. "Oh no, how will I get back home?" she fretted. Just then, a friendly dog came over to sniff her.
The dog wagged his tail and barked a friendly greeting. Tina smiled and patted the dog's head. "Hello there! Can you help me?" she asked. The dog tilted his head, as if he understood.
The dog led Tina to the front door of the house. Tina knocked, and a little boy answered. "Hello!" the boy said, surprised to see a tiny fairy at his door.
"I'm the Tooth Fairy," Tina explained. "I've lost my way and can't fly back home. Can you help me?" The boy nodded excitedly. "Of course! Come with me," he said, and Tina followed him inside.
The boy gave Tina a cookie and some milk, and then he started looking through his toys. "Aha!" he exclaimed, pulling out a small model airplane. "This should help you get home."
Tina climbed into the airplane, and the boy gently tossed it into the air. To Tina's delight, the airplane started to fly! She waved goodbye to the boy and soared up into the night sky.
Soon, Tina was back at her cozy home in Fairyland. She smiled, grateful for the kind boy who had helped her. From that day on, Tina made sure to visit him every time she collected a tooth, leaving behind an extra-special surprise.
