"Maya's Brave Art Show"

Maya loved drawing, but she never showed her work to anyone. She thought her pictures were too simple, and she worried other kids would laugh. One day, her teacher announced an art day where everyone had to share one piece they made. Maya's heart thumped. She wanted to hide her sketchbook, but something inside her whispered, "Try."

At home, she chose her favorite drawing of a bird learning to fly. The next day, when it was her turn, Maya's hands shook. But she took a deep breath and showed her picture. The class grew quiet. Then her teacher smiled and said, "This bird looks brave. Just like you."

Maya felt warm inside. Her classmates clapped, and one even asked how she made the wings look so soft. Maya learned that courage doesn't mean you aren't scared—it means you take a small step anyway. And sometimes, that one step can open a whole new sky.
