Charis was a bright and curious kindergartener who loved to learn. She was excited to start learning how to read, but sometimes felt a little nervous.
One day, Charis's teacher, Mrs. Smith, told the class they would be reading a new book together. Charis listened closely as Mrs. Smith read the story aloud.
As Charis followed along, she noticed that some of the words looked familiar. She started to recognize a few letters and even tried sounding out a word or two.
Charis felt a spark of confidence. "I can do this!" she thought. She began practicing reading at home with her parents, who encouraged her every step of the way.
Each day, Charis became a better reader. She could recognize more words and even read short sentences. Her classmates cheered her on, and Charis felt proud of her progress.
By the end of the year, Charis was reading fluently. She had become a reading star, inspiring her classmates and showing that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.
