Aubrey and the Missing Christmas Present

Aubrey searched high and low, but the present was nowhere to be found. "Don't worry, honey," said her mom. "I'm sure it's around here somewhere." But Aubrey wasn't so sure..

Later that day, Aubrey's best friend, Max, came over to play. "Did you get any good presents?" he asked. "Well, one of them is missing," Aubrey replied, feeling very puzzled..

Max decided to help Aubrey solve the mystery. They looked under the sofa, behind the tree, and even in the fridge, but the present was still nowhere to be seen..

Just as they were about to give up, Aubrey's little brother, Timmy, came running into the room. "I found it! I found it!" he shouted. "I was playing with it in my room."

Aubrey and Max raced to Timmy's room and sure enough, there was the missing present, all wrapped up and ready to be opened. "Thank goodness," Aubrey sighed with relief..

Aubrey and Max were both happy that the mystery had been solved, and they couldn't wait to see what was inside the present. They carefully unwrapped it and found a brand new toy they had both been wanting..

Aubrey gave Max a big hug and thanked him for helping her solve the mystery. "I couldn't have done it without you," she said. Max just smiled and said, "That's what friends are for."..
