Amelia had always felt invisible at school. She would sit quietly in the back of the classroom, hoping no one would notice her. The other kids seemed to have their own groups and didn't pay much attention to the shy girl in the corner. Amelia often felt lonely and wished someone would take the time to get to know her.

One day, a new student named Lily joined the class. Lily was immediately friendly and outgoing, making friends with everyone. Amelia watched from the sidelines, wishing she could be as confident and popular as Lily. But to Amelia's surprise, Lily noticed her sitting alone and walked over to introduce herself.

"Hi, I'm Lily. What's your name?" Lily asked with a warm smile.

Amelia was taken aback, but eventually managed to reply, "I'm Amelia." The two girls started talking, and Amelia was amazed at how easy it was to open up to Lily. She had never felt so comfortable with someone before.
