It was a dark and spooky Halloween night in the small town of Scaresville. Timmy, a fourth-grade boy, and his friends were out trick-or-treating, dressed in their favorite monster costumes. They were having a blast, going from house to house, collecting mountains of candy.

As they walked down the dimly lit streets, they suddenly heard a strange, slimy sound coming from a nearby alley. Curious, the group of friends crept closer to investigate. To their horror, they found a group of real-life monsters pouring buckets of green, oozing slime all over the neighborhood!

"Oh no, this is not good!" Timmy cried. The monsters turned and spotted the kids, their eyes glowing red and their fangs bared. Before the friends could run away, the monsters pounced on them, covering them in the thick, slimy goo.

Timmy felt the slime seeping into his skin, and to his shock, he started to turn green from head to toe! His friends had the same fate, and soon the entire group was a vibrant shade of emerald.

"Look at us, we're turning into monsters!" one of Timmy's friends shouted in dismay. The real monsters laughed and scurried away, leaving the kids covered in the sticky substance.

Luckily, the town's police force had been alerted to the strange happenings, and they quickly arrived on the scene. The officers arrested the monsters and called for an emergency decontamination team to help the kids.

After a thorough cleaning and a special shot to neutralize the slime, Timmy and his friends were back to their normal selves, no longer green. They were relieved to be rid of the slime, but the experience had left them with a newfound respect for the spooky creatures of Halloween.
