It was a sunny morning at Oakwood Elementary School. The children were excited to start their day, but when Lily opened her lunchbox, it was gone! She looked all around her desk, but her favorite lunchbox was nowhere to be found.

"Who took my lunchbox?" Lily asked her classmates. The other students shook their heads, just as confused as Lily. They all loved their lunchtime, and no one wanted to miss their snacks and sandwiches.

The teacher, Mrs. Smith, noticed Lily's distress and asked what was wrong. Lily explained that her lunchbox had disappeared. Mrs. Smith promised to help Lily find it, and the class began searching the classroom.

After looking everywhere, they still couldn't find the missing lunchbox. But then, Timmy noticed a trail of crumbs leading out the door. The class followed the trail down the hallway and all the way to the cafeteria, where they found the lunchbox sitting on a table.

The mystery was solved! A hungry squirrel had snuck into the classroom and taken Lily's lunchbox. The class laughed at the silly squirrel and were happy to have the lunchbox back. Lily was relieved to have her special lunchbox and couldn't wait to eat her favorite snacks.
