I have been tutoring with Learn to Be for a little over a year now and it has been a wonderful experience. My students are amazing and I love seeing them improve over time, and I have also learned many things myself. I am a better public speaker, I am more confident, and I have better organization skills. The Tutor Corps program also taught me more important skills such as consistency and time-management. 

One thing I really appreciate about Learn to Be is the ability to connect with students and see different learning styles. When I am explaining a concept to my students and ask them to show their understanding, I often find myself thinking, "Wow, I never thought of it that way!" I love seeing these different perspectives on fundamental math and reading concepts, which, as a high school sophomore, helps me refine my educational foundation and makes me a stronger student as well. 

Overall, I am so grateful for this opportunity to help make a positive impact with such a supportive community of tutors and students. The connections I have made with my students and everything they have taught me in return have made this experience truly special, and I look forward to continuing to grow alongside them.
