I have been tutoring Sadra, a now 11 year old boy, for the past two years. Sadra is from Iran. His first language is Persian. His second is Turkish. English is his third language, but he is incredibly fluent. He is also very bright in math and science, so we do lessons on many topics. When I first connected with Sadra, I figured we could use some friends in Iran. I have spoken with his parents, sister, and uncle. All wonderful people. It brings me great sadness that the current war has sometimes interrupted our connection, and even now limits his internet quality. I hope that I am contributing in some very small way to brining peace between our countries.
