I have tutored on Learn To Be over a year now teaching PreAlgebra through Calculus. The students are extremely respectful, willing to participate, and in short, a joy to tutor. I found their parents to provide huge support. In all, the experience has been extremely fulfilling for me personally. The Learn To Be model of choosing a student and remaining with that student over a sustained period fosters the development of a strong student/tutor relationship where a student is assured of constant interaction while the tutor gains insights into how to best work with a student and understand their difficulties. I would encourage others who are interested in tutoring to visit Learn To Be and peruse the list of students waiting for help in the sciences, language arts, and mathematics. The reward is knowing the time you give can be the difference between a child passing a course versus failing. What a feeling.
